Anesthesia
My wife recently has some cosmetic surgery. For unknown reasons, the Dr. Kept her under for 12 plus hours. She now has trouble focusing and has lost some of her vision. She is not the same and seems to be loopy. It is going on 4 months since the surgery and when we asked the Dr. why he kept her under so long, his answer was "I don't know, I just really got into my work." is this normal? will she get better?
Please advise.

That sounds dreadful, but to make any suggestions, it would be better to know what part of the body was worked on, and find out which anesthetic was used, and whether this is usual with it's reaction. I hope your wife is improving.

what anesthetic was she given?? some anesthetics has that side effects.
